It’s amazing how soft pastels can bring any subject to life. Lots of layers of pastel laid on top of each other here. I struggled using thick pastel sticks on this but persevered with some great results.
My note pad doesn’t have much of a tooth on the paper but this did stick really well. It was originally brighter but a spray of fixative dimmed the colours slightly.
