A quick 10 minute Lemmy. Such a legend with an iconic face. I play bass in a band and I’ve always loved Lemmy’s style and sound on four strings.

Pastel Pumpkin
This was our indoor Halloween decoration this year. Using soft pastels on a light brown pastel paper. The pumpkin really jumps out of the paper. Even though this looks great it literally only took around 10 minutes from sketch to finish. That’s why I love pastels. Chatty Kitty
Another kitty to go alongside a kitty poem. This time a talk show host. Cat Chat. Alan Kitty Cat Carr? Or Graham Meowington.
Call Centre Cats

Sifl and Olly
A great show back in the 90’s on MTV. Two sock puppets.
Giant mushroom
Inspired by another walk on a rainy day. Mushrooms appear more or less overnight where I live. It’s very damp most of the time in the northwest of England. Perfect conditions for these weird looking plants.
Rocking into retirement
Spooky Trees
Inspired by a walk one autumn day around my local reservoir, Jumbles. Green moss on the trees looking like ectoplasm.
Pastel Penguin
I love pastels even though I’ve only just started using them in the last few weeks. They’re fast, colourful, portable, and just create some amazing results. This was the 2nd large piece I created. Picture based on an RSPB feature in a magazine. This is on a brown pastel paper and is now framed inContinue reading “Pastel Penguin”
